Balancing The Heart Chakra


The Anahata is the 4th Chakra and is also known as the Heart Chakra and is symbolized by a flower in the shape of a circle and two intersecting triangles, forming a hexagram with twelve GREEN petals.  This Chakra is located in the chest.

Unblocking and balancing assist in bringing balance to all levels within ourselves and gives us the ability to help others.  It also enables us to feel at peace with ourselves and the world and encourages success, personal growth, development and prosperity.  Some activities that help balance this Energy Centre include Push Ups, Swimming (in particular breast stroke) and hugging, especially yourself.

Balancing The Solar Plexus Chakra

The Manipura is the 3rd Chakra and is also known as the Solar Plexus Chakra and is symbolized by a triangle that is downward pointing with ten petals and the colour YELLOW.  This Chakra is located at the base of the rib cage.

Unblocking and balancing assists in being more disciplined and better organised resulting in an increased capacity to accomplish that which we desire and then to relax and enjoy these accomplishments and feeling safe and secure.  Some activities that help balance this Energy Centre include Hoola Hooping, Belly Dancing and doing the Twist.

Balancing The Sacral Chakra



The Swadhisthana is the 2nd Chakra and is also known as the Sacral Chakra and is symbolized by a white lotus inside of which is a crescent moon with six ORANGE petals.  This Chakra is located in the sacrum.

Unblocking & balancing assists in strengthening intuition, energy and success and helps us to learn from our experiences regardless of whether they are failures or successes.  Some activities that help balance this Energy Centre are things like dancing (including circular pelvic movements and pelvic thrusts), having fun with our friends and laughter.
